Mike Frazer is headed out the door to the GIADA convention in Lake Lanier Islands, GA today. This year we’ve really enjoyed visiting so many conventions. It’s a great opportunity to meet other vendors we can collaborate with to make our dealer’s lives easier. We research the latest trends and exciting new ideas. The latest version of Frazer includes improvements to the basic Inventory Listing report (Reports, 1-Vehicle Inventory Reports, 2-Inventory Listing, 4-Basic Report). This report has been cleaned up by removing the tag number field to make room for some helpful additions. You’ll now be able to view which vehicles have been set to upload, as well as viewing the transmission and drive train fields from the vehicle file. A great improvement to a dealer favorite!

Frazer comes with the option to print payment coupons for your customers. In Frazer, click on Sales, 2 – Print Payment Coupons, select the customer that you want to print for and then the coupon that you want to use! It’s that simple!

We have recently added more options to the Export Data feature in Frazer. There are now 57 items that can be exported from the system; the newest additions are Temp Tag, Profit on Sale, Service Contract, Doc Fee, Lien Holder Name, Vehicle Insurance Information, Co-buyer and Co-buyer Birthday. To see these and all the other options available in the export feature, click on Miscellaneous and then 8 – Export Data.

Did you know that every time you enter a name in Frazer, complete a sale, take a payment and more, the Office of Foreign Assets Control’s Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons list is checked. This is often referred to as the “bad guy list”. If a name is entered into Frazer that is on that list, you will see the following warning pop-up before you can continue.
And not only that, but we keep a record of every name that you check with the dates and stock numbers. You can choose to print that report as well.
Great features, right? We think so!!

Click on Help and select either 1 – Help Manual or 2 – Video Tutorials. These will provide a good starting point for you. Our programmers have recently added uploads to AutoConX, AutoBase.com and Monster Lot. The setup is located under Miscellaneous, 1 – System Options and then click on tab 5 – Vehicle Options. Once you are ready to do the upload, click on Vehicles and then 8 – Vehicle Uploads.

The List of Vehicles Purchased Report options now has the ability to exclude vehicles acquired by way of repossession or by way of a trade-in. To get to this report, click on Reports, then 1 – Vehicle Inventory Reports and then 3 – List of Vehicles Purchased.

Frazer now has the ability to print envelopes for a Vendor or Customer! Print an envelope from the Vendor default screen or after you print a check. For a Customer, visit Customer Activity and select a specific customer and print an envelope for John Doe.

We have added a button in the Customer Activity screen and the Changing Vehicle screen to print the General Ledger transactions for that customer or that vehicle. This button is located at the top of each screen!

We all are concerned with our credit rating these days! Frazer has the ability to pull your potential customer’s credit. Just sign up with Credco! To do so, go to Miscellaneous, 1 – System Options, 2 – Sales Options 2 and click on the button labeled Set-up to pull Credit Reports. Want to report the credit of your current customers? Click on Customers and then 5 – Report to Credit Bureau.

Don’t forget that Frazer has made backing up quick and easier than ever. By clicking “Backup” at the top of the screen all your data is first encrypted and then saved in one of 12 secure locations. Without a good backup all it takes is one crashed computer and you will lose it all – something you won’t have to worry about using the Frazer backup feature. Your last 12 backups are all saved, and, like everything else, it is all included with your Frazer system.

We are continuing to improve on our accounting functions. We have just added detailed review of both added costs and bills to the vendor inquiry screen. You can go to the vendor window and now see all bills paid, and all vehicle added costs for that vendor, with totals by this month, last month, this year, and each of the past three past years. And that’s just a start. Keep an eye on our accounting functions as we seem to be adding features rapidly these days.
