The FRAZER system provides different options for calculating salesman commissions (Figure 1).  You can calculate commissions on a single sale or for a group of sales based on sale dates. Also when calculating the commission, you decide if the commission will be based on the profit, sales price, or down payment. Profit is defined as the Price minus the Trade Differential minus the Total Vehicle Cost. So, under this option, the greater the difference between selling price and vehicle cost, the higher the salesman commission will be.  In calculating profit, you are also given the option to include or not include items such as Other Service Fees, Financing, Document Prep Fee, and Company Overhead.  Before calculating commission, you must first enter what percentage of the profit, sales price, or down payment to use.

Helpful Hints

If a commission is calculated incorrectly, you can rerun the program to correct it.

Select SALES at the top of the main gray FRAZER screen
Select Option 6  - Calculate Commissions

Click on the Enter Sales BUTTON
Select the Cost Tab
Click on the Commission Calculator BUTTON

Alternate Path (for a completed sale)

Click on the Customer Activity BUTTON
Select a customer
Click on B - Customer Processing BUTTON
Click on A - Customer Information and Costs BUTTON
Select Costs Tab
Click on Commission Calculator BUTTON
