There is functionality in FRAZER to calculate balloon payments. First, an option needs to be enabled in System Options to display the balloon payment information. Click here for more information on this setting: Sales Options 1. Once you have enabled balloon payments in the system, the Pricing Tab will display a field for capturing the balloon payment information. You must have Outside Financing selected as the sale type.
Helpful Hints
| • | The balloon payment that is calculated will be in addition to the number of payments listed in the Calculate Financing section. For example, if the number of payments listed on the Pricing Tab is 12, then the balloon payment will be the 13th payment. |
| • | The system will display the principal and interest break out for the balloon payment. This is not included in the amount displayed in the Total Payments. |
| • | Though a balloon payment typically falls as the last payment, the date of the balloon payment can actually be at any time. |
