Updating the Bad Guy List

Top  Previous  Next

Every update you receive from Frazer (you will receive an update at least every three months) will include the latest revision of OFAC's SDN "terrorist" list.  However the terrorist list is usually updated a couple of times every month, so you may want to check the government web site to see if you should update your list.  To do this:

1. Click on Sales at the top of the main window, and then select 8-OFAC's SDN List from the menu.
2. This window will let you search for names on the list.  At the bottom of the screen, you will see the words "File last updated:" and the date the list was last updated in Frazer.  Click on the "Click Here to Check for the Latest Version of List" button.
3. The following window will open:

4. Be sure you have a connection to the internet, and click on the link that says "Check to See Date for Latest List" if you want to see if a new update is available.
5. You will be directed to the federal government web site that contains the list.  Notice the date at the top of the window, if the list has been updated recently you can load it into Frazer by following the next steps.
6. Close the government web page and return to the previous Frazer screen.  Click on the "Download Latest List" button.  When prompted, choose "Run".
7. After the file downloads, you will need to tell it the location of the Frazer program on your computer.  This is usually the FRAZER30 folder.  If it is not already listed as the intended location of the file, type in C:\FRAZER30 or Click the Change...  button to browse to this folder, and then follow the prompts to install the update.
8. That's it - you are up to date!
